Harry wanting a new snake reminded me of my dog. She died a couple of months ago. I just wish that some of the people around me were more like Sirius and Remus in your story and not so pushy about me getting a new dog. I'll get another when I'm ready.

Wow, I thought I was in love before... and then you write, "For Harry, we have The Hobbit and A Wrinkle in Time... and discovering the secret entrance to Narnia."
Dorothy said you just finished grad school, yet I find that so hard to believe, when you can write something like this: "Sirius wondered how he'd ever lived without Harry, without the swell of his heart when his boy was near, the cold-sweat terror when he was hurt, the stunning pride when he'd done well. And sometimes, like now, all three at once." What a gift you have! Please, please, keep writing!!!!
